Thomas John Lieb III was born on the picturesque Palos Verdes Peninsula of California. Growing up in this vibrant community, Thomas displayed exceptional talents both in academics and athletics, leading to his graduation from Loyola High School in 1993. Following high school, Thomas pursued his passion for business at the prestigious University of Notre Dame, where he graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, focusing on Accounting. This academic achievement was a testament to his dedication and laid the groundwork for a successful career in finance.

Thomas began his professional journey as a Certified Public Accountant, where he honed his skills over seven years in various prominent firms, including BDO Seidman, PwC, as well as his father’s firm, Thomas J. Lieb & Co., CPAs. His specialization included audits, transaction services, and the intricate preparation of personal and corporate tax returns. Working alongside his father in the family business provided him with invaluable insights into the accounting world and ignited his interest in the mortgage industry.

In 2004, Thomas seized an opportunity at Countrywide Home Loans, where he quickly distinguished himself as a Leader’s Club Account Executive in the Wholesale Mortgage Channel, where he collaborated closely with mortgage brokers. When Countrywide was acquired by Bank of America, he transitioned into the retail side of mortgage banking as a Mortgage Loan Officer, further expanding his expertise in the industry.

In 2010, Thomas took a pivotal step in his career by joining Wells Fargo Private Mortgage Bank as a Private Mortgage Banker. His leadership qualities shone through as he rapidly ascended to Sales Supervisor and eventually became the Producing Branch Manager of the Pasadena, California branch. Under his management, The North Los Angeles Private Mortgage Banking Teams flourished. His outstanding performance earned him the prestigious Presidents Club distinction, recognizing him as one of the Top 10 Branch Managers nationally.

In January 2023, Thomas made a bold move to return to the mortgage broker channel and quickly founded America’s Choice Lending Group, LLC. As the President and Chief Loan Officer, he is dedicated to leveraging his extensive professional experience to provide unparalleled mortgage and economic knowledge to his clients. Thomas’s approach focuses on delivering customized mortgage solutions tailored to the unique needs of each customer.
